Call for Panel Presenters!
Find Yourself: Establishing a Professional Identity in Art Librarianship

The LGBTQ and Critical Librarianship Special Interest Groups are hosting an interactive panel session that will work in tandem with the Diversity Forum at the 2019 annual ARLIS/NA conference in Salt Lake City. This session will focus on the development of early career art information professionals, taking into account identity and experience in the workplace. We are accepting proposals from all identities and areas, but emphasis will be placed on those from cataloging and public-facing areas such as museums/archives and public services/circulation. We are searching for two additional panelists to discuss how experience, identity, and circumstance influences and interacts with professional identities, then lead group breakout sessions to discuss these issues in greater depth.

If you are interested in presenting and leading a group discussion, please submit a brief description of your presentation, as well as ideas, takeaways, and learning objectives for a related group breakout session to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> by November 14.

Thank you.

Most sincerely,
