Paper proposals for the New Voices in the Profession session at the 2019
ARLIS/NA conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, are still being accepted. This
is a great opportunity for those early in their careers to present at a
professional conference. The session showcases exceptional academic work by
students and new professionals (under 5 years post MLS).

Paper topics should relate strongly to Art and/or Visual Resources
Librarianship, but can also include digital library projects, archival
work, library instruction, reference and the changing nature of libraries,
among other topics. Papers that focus on the conference theme “Arts: In/Site”
and highlight art in Utah, site-specific endeavors, vision’s role in
librarianship, or insights into new developments within the field will be
given special consideration.

To see papers presented in past sessions, please view Conference
Proceedings from previous years on the ARLIS website (
https://www.arlisna.org/news/conferences). Papers will be selected by
representatives from ArLiSNAP and the ARLIS/NA Professional Development
Committee in January.

If interested, please submit the following to Meredith Hale at
