I am happy to announce a new “Featured Projects<https://arlisna.org/organization/featured-projects>” page on the ARLIS/NA website (AWS).

The page presents descriptions, approval dates, and contact information for a regularly updated list of executive-board-approved initiatives.
Currently highlighted:

  * Humanities Commons Planning Task Force
  *   New Art Museum Library
  *   Academic Division’s Report
  *   Data & Assessment Committee (DAC)—Data & Assessment Coordinator
  * Directory of Digital Art History (DAHD)

All featured projects begin with a project and service charter proposal submitted to the Executive Board for review.
For more information on the process, please visit the Administrative Documents<https://arlisna.org/organization/administrative-documents> page.
Under Forms, click on the Project and Service Charter<https://arlisna.org/images/admindocs/forms/ARLISNA_Project-Service_Charter.docx> link. The purpose of the charter is to identify the overall scope of the initiative and to ensure that it is aligned with the Society’s strategic direction, goals and priorities. This form must be completed for all new ARLIS/NA project and service initiatives in conjunction with your executive board liaison.

Thank you to the Editorial Board for making the Featured Projects <https://arlisna.org/organization/featured-projects> page available on the ARLIS/NA website and to all those working on these important ARLIS/NA initiatives.

Sincerely,
Kim
