Sale Code LN8689 ROSEMARY (rosemary questionable now…) I am seeking in particular, a color scan of Lot 10, Portrait of Captain Sir John Burlase, by G. Geldorp. I am only able to locate a Sotheby’s London sales catalogue of this same date, location and time, as The Racing Sale, and through searching OCLC FirstSearch and Advanced Search on Sotheby’s website, I continue to receive unclear results. If anyone out there in the 5, or possibly 10, libraries that may own a copy of this catalogue, please me know if it’s possible to receive a scanned color image of Lot 10 by G. Geldorp, as I am unable to locate this information anywhere else. Any other ideas are also welcome.
