Paper proposals for the New Voices in the Profession session at the 2019
ARLIS/NA conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, are now being accepted!

New Voices in the Profession showcases exceptional academic work by
students and new professionals (under 5 years post MLS). Paper topics
should relate strongly to Art and/or Visual Resources Librarianship, but
also digital library projects, archives, library instruction, reference and
the changing nature of libraries, among other topics. Papers that relate to
the conference theme “Arts: In/Site” and highlight art in Utah,
site-specific endeavors, vision’s role in librarianship, or new insights
within the field will be given special consideration.

To see papers presented in past sessions, please view conference
proceedings from previous years on the ARLIS website (
https://www.arlisna.org/news/conferences). Papers will be selected by
representatives from ArLiSNAP and the ARLIS/NA Professional Development
Committee.
