Paper proposals for the New Voices in the Profession session at the 2019 ARLIS/NA conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, are now being accepted! New Voices in the Profession showcases exceptional academic work by students and new professionals (under 5 years post MLS). Paper topics should relate strongly to Art and/or Visual Resources Librarianship, but also digital library projects, archives, library instruction, reference and the changing nature of libraries, among other topics. Papers that relate to the conference theme “Arts: In/Site” and highlight art in Utah, site-specific endeavors, vision’s role in librarianship, or new insights within the field will be given special consideration. Papers will be selected by representatives from ArLiSNAP and the ARLIS/NA Professional Development Committee.
