Hi all, especially those who work with artist files, The Artist Files SIG is very close to publishing a revised recommendation for cataloging artist files using MARC. Some of the Society's best cataloging minds have already looked closely at the updated guidelines, along with OCLC metadata experts. I had set today's date, August 31, as a due date for feedback from Artist Files SIG members, but I decided to enlarge the invitation for feedback by sending to ARLIS-L.
