similarities and our differences. In a rapidly changing social and political environment, libraries and information professionals have pledged to defend the constitutional rights of all people, to value diversity, and equity, and work to promote a more just
democratic society. Diversity and inclusion are fundamental values of ARLIS/NA and its members. Previous position statements have affirmed our commitment to upholding values that respect the dignity and rights of all people:
