Dear Colleagues,
The Kohler Art Library is rapidly approaching its 50th anniversary (like a certain professional art library organization!), along with the UW-Madison art history department
and the university museum. We’re hoping to plan a series of events throughout the anniversary year, some in connection with our partners, who share the same building—we were conceived as a creative suite.
We’d love to hear what other libraries have done to commemorate big anniversaries, especially if there were partners involved. Did you plan a symposium? Invite back important
alum and donors? Did you create branding material, host an exhibit of the library’s history, order a cake?
