The first year seminar courses (akin to eng 101/102 courses ) at SAIC are being reworked and they are interested in having the library collaborate in both the course design and in how we might support their curriculum. As an art and design school, there is a fair amount of resistance to standardizing the approaches for this class, so I’m wondering if anyone has had success in a similar venture — and if so, what your approach was?! My initial thought is to change the language that is traditionally used as a way to give more flexibility to each instructor...
