ARLIS/NA members are invited to a lecture on March 21st at 4 p.m. by Dr. Ismael Serageldin, Founding Director and now Director Emeritus of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The rebirth and reinvention of the Library of Alexandria in the 21st Century will be an illuminating lecture on an ambitious library project. The talk will take place in the Art Study Room in the Ruth and Harold D. Uris Center for Education (ground floor, enter at 81st Street entrance) at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. A reception in the Watson Reading Room will follow.
