The Mills College Book Art Program is pleased to announce the third annual Summer Institute for Book and Print Technologies taking place June 4-15, 2018.

The summer institute is open to members of the national book art community and will include 5-day workshops taught at the master class level.


Session I: June 4-8, 2018

Samuel Feinstein: Intermediate Finishing: Tooling with Egg Glaire


Session II: June 11-15, 2018

Jessica Spring: The Daredevil is in the Details: Mastering Letterpress Composition

Dorothy Yule: Inventor's Lab for Book Artists: Hybrid Accordions and Movable Book Structures


Artist Presentations by the Summer Institute Instructors: June 10th, 2018
