Dear Colleagues,
In October, we launched a GoFundMe campaign for an ArLiSNAP New Professional Travel Award. Thanks to the generosity of our membership, we raised a little over $847 after GoFundMe fees and with two direct donations to ARLIS/NA headquarters. To take immediate advantage of this compassion, we will be offering $800 of the money raised to a travel award for the 46th Annual Conference for ARLIS/NA in New York City, February 25 - March 1, 2018. The other $47 will remain in an account dedicated to the New Professional Travel Award as a seed amount for next time.
For those of you who have been employed in the field for less than 5 years, whether full-time or part-time, we hope you will take advantage and apply for this opportunity to be the first recipient of the ArLiSNAP New Professional Travel Award for $800 at the link below by January 5th, 2018.

The award is to encourage new professionals to participate in the field of art librarianship. Those who are eligible to apply include members who have already received their MLIS and have worked in the field for less than five years.
