Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of ARLIS/NA president Eumie Imm Stroukoff, I am pleased to announce two appointments to the society's editorial board.

* Amy Trendler, architecture librarian at Ball State University since 2005, has been named ARLIS/NA Reviews co-editor. Amy will succeed Doug Litts when he begins his tenure as ARLIS/NA's treasurer at the 46th annual conference in New York.

Amy received her bachelor's degree in art history from Beloit College and her master's degree in art history and master's degree in library and information science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. From 1999 to 2005 she held positions in cataloging and reference at the Art Institute of Chicago. An ARLIS/NA member since 1998, Amy's record of society service includes participation in the ARLIS/NA-VRA SEI task force, co-chair of the SEI, chair of the nominating committee and member of the development, Gerd Muehsam, and Wittenborn award committees, and moderator and vice-moderator of the architecture section. She held several offices for the ARLIS/NA Midstates chapter and executive board positions as Midwest regional representative and development and marketing liaison. Amy has been a regular contributor to ARLIS/NA Reviews and maintains memberships in the Association of Architecture School Librarians, the Visual Resources Association, and the Association of College & Research Libraries.

  * Nick Curotto, cataloging, systems, and digital services librarian at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) library, succeeds Tessa Brawley-Barker as IT architect. Nick's appointment is effective immediately.

Nick earned his bachelor of science degree in urban studies from Virginia Commonwealth University and a master's degree in library and information science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He served as technical services librarian at the VMFA for six years and two years as secretary/treasurer of the Mid-Atlantic chapter before assuming his current position; he also holds a post as adjunct reference/information literacy librarian at J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College. Previous experience includes an 11-month graduate research assistantship with the University of Illinois Graduate School of Library and Information Science Community Informatics (CI) Initiative and more than five years as membership coordinator for the Society of Architectural Historians. Nick currently serves as an advisor to the editorial board for the society's open access task force (OATF) initiatives following his participation on the second group (2016-2017) charged with exploring questions regarding ARLIS/NA's engagement with open access principles in its publications program.

Please join me in welcoming Amy and Nick to the editorial board - we look forward to working with you.
