The Biblioteca Daniel Cosío Villegas of El Colegio de Mexico and the Preservation and Archiving Special Interest Group (PASIG, http://www.preservationandarchivingsig.org/) Steering Committee are excited to announce that Mexico City will be hosting the PASIG meeting in the fall of 2018. This is the first time this international conference has been in Mexico. We are thrilled to connect with colleagues in such a vibrant and culturally rich city.

 

PASIG is dedicated to advancing the practice of digital preservation and archiving. It brings together practitioners, industry experts and researchers to share experience on how to put preservation and archiving into practice.

 

The specifics of the conference are below:

 

Date: October 16-18, 2018

 

Venue: El Colegio de México, Mexico City

La Biblioteca Daniel Cosío Villegas de El Colegio de México y el Comité Directivo de Preservation and Archives Special Interest Group (PASIG, http://www.preservationandarchivingsig.org/) con mucho entusiasmo anuncian que la Ciudad de México será la sede para la reunión de PASIG en el otoño de 2018.
