The California Visual Resources Association Conference (CaVraCon) will
be taking place next Monday and Tuesday (June 12+13) in the Wurster Hall
auditorium (room 112) and gallery (next door) at UC Berkeley’s College
of Environmental Design.
An exciting program is in place with distinguished speakers addressing
the following topics: Digital Capture/Digitization, Copyright for Visual
Materials, 3D/VR/Emerging Imaging Technologies, Engaging Communities in
Collaborative Research/Digital Humanities, Collection Access/Digital
Publishing & Exhibits, and more.
Monday evening there is a reception where attendees can mingle and meet
the commercial and non-profit partners who so generously sponsored
CaVraCon 2017. In addition to our gracious hosts—UC Berkeley’s History
of Art Department and College of Environmental Design—sincere thanks to
