Hello all.
I’m working with our Museum Education Curator on an art library event for school art teachers (various levels) to be a fun and educational introduction to the art research materials available in the local college library. In Maine, we function as a regional resource due to our rural location, and statewide access and borrowing is encouraged.
We are a decent-sized art library (close to 40,000 volumes) but our circulating collection is in compact shelving. This makes accommodating “scavenger hunt” kinds of events challenging. But I’m willing to give it a try.
Do any of you have suggestions for fun questions and alternatives for this type of audience?
