ARLIS/NA HONORS OUTSTANDING SCHOLARS WITH RESEARCH AWARDS
 
OAK CREEK, WI (February 14, 2017) --- The Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) is pleased to announce this year's winners of the ARLIS/NA Research Awards.
 
The Worldwide Books Award for Publications recognizes outstanding publications by ARLIS/NA individual members in librarianship or visual resources curatorship and the arts. By recognizing special achievement in these areas this award acknowledges and encourages scholarly publication by the ARLIS/NA membership. The 2017 winner is Robert Craig Bunch, for his book The Art of Found Objects: Interviews with Texas Artists, published by Texas A&M University Press.
 
 
The Worldwide Books Award for Electronic Resources recognizes outstanding electronic publications by ARLIS/NA individual members in librarianship or visual resources curatorship and the arts. By recognizing special achievement in these areas this award acknowledges and encourages the development of electronic resources by the ARLIS/NA membership. The 2017 winners are Jennifer Wormser, Elsa Loftis, Sue Maberry, Lauren MacDonald, and Tony White, for their online tutorial on Lynda.com, Information Literacy with Elsa Loftis.
 
 
The members of the ARLIS/NA Research Awards Sub-Committee are: Laurel Bliss (Chair), Lindsey Reynolds (Vice-Chair), Breanne Crumpton, Stephanie Frontz, and Amy Furness.
