To the NOLA Conference attendees who are registered for the Garden District Walking Tour:

 

Garden District Walking Tour, with John Klingman  

Thursday, February 9th, 1:00-3:00 pm

 

Taking the Streetcar?  Be at the starting point by 1:00 pm!!

 

The Garden District tour will begin at the corner of First Street and St. Charles Avenue. This is a fifteen minute

cab ride, or allow forty-five minutes (45!)  for walking/streetcar ride from the hotel (highly recommended). Get on

the St Charles streetcar at Poydras and St. Charles. Get off at the streetcar stop St. Charles and First. The end of

the tour will also provide easy access for the St. Charles streetcar going back downtown.

This is the streetcar route. If you plan to walk, pick up the Starting Point card for this tour at Registration, or refer

to the 2nd map, below.

Allow yourself plenty of lead time—the tour will leave the starting point on time.

Our guide has lived in the Garden District since 1983 and has stories to tell…See you there!
