Hi, everyone.
See below for specifics about the first-time attendees, new members, and international guests reception at the New Orleans conference. Apologies if there was any confusion. The ARLIS/NA Membership Committee has organized an icebreaker
activity that is sure to be fun!
WHO: First-time attendees, new members, and international guests
WHAT: Reception hosted by Heather Gendron, ARLIS/NA President, and the ARLIS/NA Membership Committee; sponsored by AMALIVRE (http://www.amalivre.fr/index_en.html).
WHEN: Monday, February 6, 2017, 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (http://sched.co/8kpY)
DESCRIPTION: If you are new to the Society or if this is your first annual conference, please come to mix and mingle, and have some fun. We also invite international guests to join us. This is a chance to learn a little bit more
about the Society and meet some of our leaders. We look forward to sharing a glass of wine overlooking the mighty Mississippi River.
WHERE: Mark Twain Courtyard (Riverside Building of the Hilton). In case of rain, the reception will be moved to the Quarter Deck Ballroom (near the entrance to the Mark Twain Courtyard).
DIRECTIONS: Follow signs to the Riverside Building from the second level of the hotel (http://www.arlisna.org/neworleans2017/docs/Hilton_Second_Level_Floorplan.pdf)—a
level below the conference meeting rooms. Once in the Riverside Building, you will see ARLIS/NA signs to the door that will lead you to the Mark Twain Courtyard.
Best,
