This award is to encourage
professional
development
by
supporting
travel
to the
ARLIS/NA annual conference. One
award
of $300
can be
granted
to
members
of
ARLIS/NA
Upstate
New York
to
help to
defray the
expense
of
attending
the
ARLIS/NA annual conference.
ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants must
be a
member of
ARLIS
Upstate
NY and
ARLIS/NA.
All ARLIS
Upstate
NY members
are eligible for
the
award.
The
applicant must
be unable
to
receive
full institutional
funding
toward
the ARLIS/NA
conference
travel.
Preference
will
be given
to
first-time
attendees
and
those
who are
participating
in the conference
as a speaker, moderator,
session
recorder
or
committee member.
APPLICATION
PROCEDURE:
Please
include:
• A letter
of
application
describing
your
eligibility
for the
travel
award
• An estimate
of
conference
expenses
and
a description
of
all travel
funding
expected from
your institution
• A current
resume
