I just posted the message below to the SAH listserv. I would be interested to know whether you would be interested in such a gathering, assuming that I hear back from interested SAH members. I know that we’ve organized ARLIS/NA member gatherings at SAH conferences in the past, but this time I thought we might try to mix it up by welcoming SAH members that decided to join us in New Orleans.

Registration for the 2017 Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS-NA) annual conference is open! Take a look and make your plans now to join us February 5-9 in beautiful New Orleans.

The Early Bird Registration period lasts through December 23, 2016, so take advantage of it and register as soon as you are able. Another reason to register soon is that  those wonderful Tours will fill up fast!

 

Keep in mind that:

 

As of December 24, fees will increase by $100.00 for regular, institutional, business, and affiliate organization members (from $280 to $380).

 

Hotel reservations must be made on or before Friday, December 30, 2016 to receive the discounted room rate (see: http://www.arlisna.org/neworleans2017/hotel.php).

 

After January 23, registration is available on-site only .

 

 

Please note that there is also the option of setting up a ‘self-scheduled’ meeting. I would be interested to know whether any SAH members planning to attend the ARLIS/NA conference would like me to organize a gathering in order to meet with librarians that are also SAH members. Please respond to me off list if this is of interest!
