The Journal of Interactive Technology and Pedagogy<https://jitp.commons.gc.cuny.edu/> promotes an evolving discussion regarding the use of technology in teaching, learning and research. For 2017, the journal is preparing a special issue on the emerging field of Digital (or Computational) Art History. Interest in digital tools among art historians is uneven and this issue seeks to explore the challenges and opportunities that computational tools and analytical techniques offer the study of our shared visual culture.
