Begin donating to the silent auction and Etsy shop today by filling out the two forms below: The 2017 Silent Auction and Etsy Shop We are pleased to announce the annual ARLIS/NA Conference Silent Auction and the continuation of the online Etsy shop! This year's conference theme is "Arts du Monde," one that embraces New Orleans and its diverse heritage. We are looking forward to an outstanding array of items for you to bid on in remembrance of your time in NOLA. As in years past, the onsite silent auction will feature donated items from our generous chapters and sponsors. All conference attendees will get a chance to bid over the course of two days in the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Exhibit Hall. Building upon last year's efforts, the Etsy.com shop will showcase handmade crafts, artworks, and other wares from our talented membership. The Etsy Shop will allow those not able to attend the conference to support ARLIS/NA, as well as give everyone another opportunity to shop for unique items. The proceeds from any sales will be returned to ARLIS/NA to support travel awards, membership, professional development, and other organizational initiatives. Individuals and organizations, local or international, are welcome and encouraged to participate. See below for additional information about the Onsite Silent Auction or the Online Etsy Shop. SILENT AUCTION The Silent Auction will take place in the Exhibit Hall on Tuesday February 7, 2PM - 6PM, and Wednesday February 8, 9AM - 4PM. Last call for bidding will be on Wednesday at 3PM. Items may be picked up at the auction close from 4PM - 4:30PM. There will be an option to add on flat rate USPS shipping for those of you purchasing heavier items you do not wish to pack. Attendance at the national conference is not required in order to make donations or to purchase items. Anyone is welcome to donate their art and crafts, which can be items like jewelry, knitted goods, photographs, handmade books, prints, you name it! The Etsy Shop will launch on December 12th and will be continuously updated with new donations. The donor will ship all items sold on Etsy to the purchaser, or sold items can be brought to the conference for pickup. Goods unsold by February 3rd may be brought to the onsite auction during the conference (Feb 5-9) to be sold with the silent auction items.
