The International Relations Committee of ARLIS/NA invites members to Save the Date for the 2017 IRC Study Tour that will offer in-depth visits to notable libraries, archives, and museums in Paris. The 2017 Study Tour will be extra special, as it will coincide with the grand opening of The Institut national d'histoire de l'art (INHA) Library in the historical Labrouste reading room, at the heart of the renovated Richelieu quadrangle. The dates of the IRC Study Tour to Paris will be June 12-16, 2017, with an optional excursion to Fontainebleau planned for June 17. A detailed agenda, including the designated hotel, cost estimates, and application forms will be announced in mid-January. The tour will be limited to 20 ARLIS/NA members and applications will be received on a "first-come, first-served" basis, so please apply promptly to reserve your space. The IRC and our French colleagues have been working diligently to organize what will surely be a unique opportunity for an in-depth introduction to resources for art research in Paris. We look forward to hosting a fortunate group of ARLIS/NA members in Paris during the month of June, when roses will be blooming.
