Hello all, *Hyperallergic* recently wrote about an ongoing digitization project Decker Library's Digital Initiatives Unit is currently working on: "Digitized Artist Talks from the 20th Century, from Alice Neel to Gordon Parks <http://hyperallergic.com/340687/mica-library-internet-archive/>," by Allison Meier, November 28, 2016. We're currently digitizing roughly 700 audiocassette tapes from circa 1960-1990. The collection, known as MICA Mades, is available on our collection page on Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/micadeckerlibrary We have 86 items available so far, adding more each week. Highlights of the collection include recordings of visitors such as Allen Ginsberg, Gordon Parks, Elaine DeKooning, Alice Neel and Ben Shahn. The collection also has a strong focus on poetry readings and symposiums, including Black Mountain Poets, fine art and design lectures, race and culture discussions and MICA events such as graduations and open houses.
