The Council of Independent Colleges has partnered with ACRL to offer workshops in Information Fluency - the final workshop in this partnership will focus on The Arts: History, Theory, and Criticism and will be held April 20–22, 2017, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The workshops are intended to help institutions move beyond information literacy in general education to information fluency in humanities majors.  Institutional teams of librarians, faculty members, and academic administrators participate.  The workshop provides guidance and time for each campus team to create a realistic and appropriate action plan that it will take back to campus.

The workshop is open to teams from CIC member institutions.  I am happy to provide additional information on this event. I ‘ll be presenting with a team from Puget Sound.
