The Visual Resources Association Foundation (VRAF) is pleased to announce that Audrey Lorberfeld, Digital Technical Assistant at the New York Academy of Medicine and an MLIS student
in the University of Washington’s online degree program, is the Fall 2016 recipient of the VRAF Professional Development Grant.
Audrey will use the grant to speak at the Library and Information Technology Association Forum (LITA) this November in Fort Worth, Texas. Her talk is titled "Why Does Quality Assurance Matter in Web Archiving?” based on her work as
a Web Archiving Technician for the New York Art Resources Consortium. The VRAF is pleased that Audrey will be sharing her innovative, cutting-edge project in archiving born-digital, art-oriented web resources with the broader information community, and that
this grant will assist her in participating at her first professional conference.
The call for the Spring 2016 Professional Development Grant will be issued in February 2017. This grant can be used for conference participation, enrollment in a workshop, or participation
in research activities. For more information about the VRAF and its many programs that support the visual resources management and information community, please visit
