To that end, we have developed a survey that we would be most grateful if you would complete. It takes about 5-10 minutes. This survey is part of a qualitative study for a book chapter on the emotional experiences of library faculty, staff, and administration in the context of deselection. It seeks to examine the emotional experiences and motivations of individuals participating in weeding projects and the elements that contribute to those experiences and motivations. Participation in this survey is voluntary and protected by confidentiality and anonymity. While comments made in the course of responding to the survey may be quoted directly in the chapter, no names will be used.
