ARLIS/NA 2017 Annual Conference: Call for Posters

The Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) 45th Annual Conference Arts du Monde will be held February 5-9 in New Orleans, Louisiana. We invite fellow librarians, visual and media resource specialists, archivists, curators, museum professionals, educators, artists, designers, architects, historians, researchers, practitioners, students, and others around the world to submit poster proposals outlining innovative, creative, and interesting projects at your library, museum, school, collective, or related organizations.

We are hoping to get a wide range of posters highlighting the work in our institutions. Ideas for topics include, but are not limited to:

· Digital Humanities/Digital Art History

· Collection Development and Management

· User Experience

· Digitization and Preservation of Digital Collections

· Instruction

· Arts Outreach across Cultures and Ethnicities

· Local Art and Architecture

· Diversity and Inclusivity in the Arts and in Arts Librarianship

· Resource Sharing

· Management and Administration

· Scholarly Communications

· Library Planning and Design

To submit a proposal, visit the online portal <http://www.arlisna.org/neworleans2017/submissions/openconf.php> (http://www.arlisna.org/neworleans2017/submissions/openconf.php) by midnight (PT) on Friday, September 16. You will be asked to supply author information, a title, and an abstract (250 words or less), and to tag your submission with one of the tags listed below. Because submissions will go through a blind peer review process, please do not include author and institution names in the abstract (you will have the opportunity to update your abstract if your proposal is accepted). Those accepted will be notified in mid-October.

Poster tags:

· Collaboration

· Collections and Access

· Diversity and Inclusion
