Here is the schedule that we anticipate following:

Deadline for new chapter proposals                                                     August 19, 2016
Response by editors to new chapter proposals                               September 9, 2016
Chapter due date for authors                                                                  February 1, 2017
Completion of copy editing by Paul and Judy                                    April 15, 2017
Revision due date for contributors (if necessary)                            April 29, 2017
Edited manuscript to publisher                                                               May 19, 2017
Book published                                                                                              Late 2017

Subject: Call for Chapters: The Handbook of Art and Design Librarianship, Second Edition


Dear Colleagues,



We are editing a second edition of The Handbook of Art and Design Librarianship<http://www.facetpublishing.co.uk/title.php?id=047029&category_code=#.V5E9KPkrKig>  (London: Facet, 2010) and seek contributors for several new chapters.



The new edition will have updated versions of some of the original chapters, plus chapters on many new topics.  The proposed table of contents appears below. If you are interested in contributing a chapter, please send a short proposal consisting of the following points by Friday, August 19, 2016 :



  *   Your name
  *   Institutional affiliation
  *   Job title
  *   Chapter topic from the list below (e.g., 7. Digital collections)
  *   Proposed title of chapter
  *   Chapter abstract (100-150 words)



If there is another topic you would like to propose that fits within this structure, please feel free to do that as well.
