Hello, I am assisting a Croatian colleague who is researching Croatian-American artist Antun Ivanic an Oakland, California artist who wrote to Ivan Benkovic between 1914 and 1918. He was born in Pazin, Istria. I have found info on Benkovic but the only mention of Ivanic, but for an FH Ivanic is for FH Ivanic in Artists in California, 1786-1940. I have searched in Art Index, Art Full Text, JSTOR, Project Muse, DAI, Artstor, and print California artist indexes. Any help or ideas for further leads would be most helpful!
