Dear ARLIS/NA Colleagues,

The study tour, On the Material Trail: Inside the Culture of 'Made in Italy', has been rescheduled for October 16–22, 2016.

Initially approved in July 2015 and offered that October, the tour was met with great enthusiasm but the brief launch proved unfeasible for the marshaling of time and resources by interested persons and the tour fell just shy of meeting its minimum size.

More details to follow but anticipate an immersive agenda with site visits to:
  • Tuscan leather district of San Miniato
  • Textile industry in Pisa 
  • Marble quarries in Carrara
  • Fashion industry of Florence
