I will be retiring in early August from my position as library director at the School of Visual Arts. Throughout my 25 years in this position ARLIS/NA has been an extraordinary source of professional information, inspiration, comradery and friendship. Thanks to all! I now look forward to having more time for my own creative practice, travel and other good things. 

I'm pleased that there will be continuity in our library. Caitlin Kilgallen, my associate director of eight years, has been promoted and will become SVA's library director effective August 8th. We will be conducting a job search for our next associate director. That position will appear soon on the ARLIS/NA JobList.

I plan to attend next year's New Orleans conference as a retired member, and look forward to seeing many of you there.
