The shawl has been found thanks to Maya Gervits from NJIT. She spotted it on a bench near the hotel restaurant. I called the restaurant staff (because I was on a tour), and they held onto it until I could come retrieve it.

Thanks to everyone who sent their condolences!

Best,
Effie

Hi Everyone,

I lost my hand knit shawl this morning at the conference (March 11). It is triangular and changes colour from light grey, medium grey, to black on the edges. It's made out of fine alpaca and silk.

It took me a year to knit on my maternity break between nursing and diapers changes. It has a lot on sentimental value to me since I associate it with the year I was home with my newborn. I wrapped him many times in it as I was making it.

I think I left it in the Puget Sound room or in the women's bathroom on the lobby level. If you picked it up, please email me. I'll pay an award for its return.

Best,
