Dear Colleagues,
I'm have a graduate student who is, "on the hunt for any primary source material (e.g., letters, meeting minutes, art criticism, notices of acquisition, travel logs, journals, etc.) in which either Muslim veiling or pubic hair is explicitly discussed. I would prefer materials written in English or French and from the late 18th, 19th, or early 20th centuries; though, considering the specificity of these topics, I am open to looking at materials that are tangentially related, written in other languages, or from other time periods."  If you are aware of any archives or primary source materials that may touch on this topic, please do let me know via email [log in to unmask]u or (848)932-7189.
Best,
Megan
