WE WILL PROVIDE
Editing tutorials throughout the day, snacks, bottled water, access to tons of great references at the UCLA Arts Library.
PLEASE BRING
Yourself, friends, a laptop, and a charger.
(OR if you are a UCLA affiliate, you can check-out a laptop from the library!)
WHY CONTRIBUTE?
Systemic bias in Wikipedia results from a disproportionate rate of women contributors (15%) and editors (8.5%). Notable women from history and contemporary life
are underrepresented in this online platform, meaning: they are not getting the recognition they deserve.
We will release a schedule for editing tutorials closer to the date of the event. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to post on our
FB wall, send us a FB message, or email us at
[log in to unmask].
