(Please excuse cross-postings) Dear Colleagues, This online course, offered through Simmons Graduate School of Library and Information Science Extended Education, provides an introduction to the following major learning theories: - behaviorism, - cognitivism, - social constructivism and - critical pedagogy. Threshold concepts form the ACRL new Framework and metaliteracy will also be covered. In this four-week online course you will become acquainted with these theories through readings and online discussions and have the opportunity to design a lesson plan or training session using one or more of them.
