Greetings ARLIS/NA and VRA Members,

With conference registration deadlines just around the corner, don’t forget to gather your donations for the Super Market: Curated and Crafted, this year’s combination onsite silent auction and online Etsy site for handmade wares.

What can you donate? Anything you think your colleagues would like to buy! Exhibition catalogs, museum goodies, chocolate, fun things, serious things, and anything else that fits on a table. Single items welcome, or groups (like Chapters) can create a themed bundle or basket to drive up the bids!  

If you’re an artist, craftsperson, or amateur doodler, please consider sharing your creations via our new Etsy site. There’s a lot of talent in our ranks, and this is a great opportunity to let people know what you do outside of work while also supporting your professional organization.

There’s a page on the conference website devoted to the Super Market: Curated and Crafted, with links to the donation forms for both the silent auction and the Etsy site. Questions? Please contact Dayna Holz ([log in to unmask]).

As in the past, the proceeds from any sales will be returned to ARLIS/NA and VRA to support travel awards, membership, professional development, and other special endeavors.
