Dear ARLIS/NA and, especially, ARLIS/NA Northwest Chapter,

 

I wanted to draw your attention to a nice tribute to Vancouver Art Gallery Librarian, Cheryl Siegel. Cheryl has retired after more than 30 years in the position.

 

Cheryl is such a generous person and graciously took on the role of mentor to many – she was one of my go-to people when I first entered the museum library profession. I’m sure many others have similar accounts.

 

Thank you to Joanna Spurling, a colleague of Cheryl’s for many years, for writing up such a nice piece, and to our Chapter’s Communications Officer, Sarah Seymore, for posting it to our chapter website.
