Cultural Studies). The Library is currently housed at* *The Warburg
Institute* <http://warburg.sas.ac.uk/home/> *in London.*

This exhibition is the third part of a trilogy beginning with
*Staccato* dedicated
to Daniel Schreber and held at the Austrian General Consulate,
followed by *Intropoltabrement:
the Prophecy of the Lake* dedicated to Antonin Artaud and held at BFP
Projectspace Gallery.

*Hermes Payrhuber* is an Austrian born artist, living and working in
Bushwick, Brooklyn. His reputation of being an artist's artist has been
proven repeatedly over the last years through the acquisition of his work
for many critically honored public and private collections. *Payrhuber*'s work
has been part of many exhibitions at museums and galleries in Europe and
the United States including the Museum of Contemporary Art/21er Haus
Belvedere Museum, Vienna; Sue Scott Gallery, New York; Dallas Museum of
Art; Kioskshop Gallery, Berlin; and James Kelly Contemporary, Santa Fe. He
was awarded a grant by the Pollock-Krasner Foundation in 2008. The Museum
of Modern Art, PS1 Museum invited Payrhuber to present his book *THINGUMMY*,
with a hosted book signing by Printed Matter in 2013.

Fluxus artist *Geoffrey Hendricks* (b.1931) and *Sur Rodney (Sur)*
enigmatically
recognized as an animateur in the field of contemporary art (b.1954)
planned and staged their Wedding Event (1995) as part of an Al Hansen
Happening that included elements adapted from Hansen’s scores for *Hi Ho
Bibbe* (Memorial Variation), *Parisol for Marisol*, and *Silver City for
Andy Warhol*, together with *Horn Piece* a score Hansen composed with Allan
Kaprow that premiered as part of the celebration at Judson Memorial Church,
well known as a place where artists could have the freedom to experiment in
their work without fear of censorship. Hendricks and Sur are involved with
archiving , Geoff with his own artworks and his collection of Fluxus
objects and related materials, and Sur with his collection of photography,
artworks and related materials collected during his renown as codirector of
the Gracie Mansion Gallery from 1982-88. As collaborators they were invited
to participate in the creation of a *Homo Museum*, a project launched by
EXIT Art (2005), wherein they built a timber framed structure titled *A
Faggot Monument to Homosexuals Burned in the Middle Ages*, with bundles of
kindling tagged with the names of homosexuals living and dead, provided by
visitors, stacked on it’s roof. At the invitation of AA Bronson they
presented and archived the complete catalog of artists books created by
Money For Food Press, co-founded by Geoff Hendricks with his late partner
Brian Buczak, for Printed Matter (2006)
