Dear Colleagues,
The Getty Research Institute and
East of Borneo will co-host the Los Angeles meet up of the
Guggenheim's Women in Architecture edit-a-thon,
a global campaign to improve Wikipedia's coverage of women
in architecture and to increase female contributors to Wikipedia.
When: Thursday October 15, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Getty Research Institute (Research Library, Plaza Level)
Bring your laptops with power cords and join Getty and East of Borneo staff members to create and edit Wikipedia articles for the
lengthy list of women that are not (yet!) represented or underrepresented.
Anyone can create an article! All are welcome. No previous editing experience is necessary to participate. Orientations for new editors will take place at 10:30am and 1:00pm.
Space is limited. To RSVP for this event, sign up
