Greetings to all - and Happy Halloween!

I have a couple of questions re: retaining reference materials.  We currently have boxes of print volumes of Bibliography of the History of Art and Art Bibliographies Modern, neither of which have been used for years.  They're taking up a lot of space and I need to decide what to do with them.  We don't use the former and the latter is now online.

1.  Do any of you retain the print copies?  If so, do you store them off-site or keep them in your libraries (stacks or reference)?

2. If you got rid of them, what did you do with them?  Recycle?  Landfill?

Any and all advice is welcome!

Moira

Art is a kind of innate drive that seizes a human being and makes him its instrument. To perform this difficult office it is sometimes necessary for him to sacrifice happiness and everything that makes life worth living for the ordinary human being. —Carl G. Jung
