Dear Malcolm, My colleague, Amy Ciccone, forwarded to me your enquiry relating to readings in the Digital Humanities. You may be interested in my two LibGuides: 1. The Digital Humanities (see in particular the page titled: Getting started) http://libguides.usc.edu/digitalhumanities which I update on a regular basis, as well as: 1. Showcasing Digital Scholarship, and more specifically the page titled Collaborative Explorations in the Digital Humanities: http://libguides.usc.edu/showcase in which you will find links to subject-specific readings. I welcome your feedback and/or comments. Malcolm, I have a not-comprehensive but expanding DH bibliography on https://vrdighum.wordpress.com under Resources. There are some general books listed. I'd start with Digital_Humanities. It's concise and well-written. I also maintain a Facebook page on Visual Resources + Digital Humanities that you can join. It gets a variety of posts about DH, not all image related. There is also Miriam Posner's blog: http://miriamposner.com/blog/digital-humanities-and-the-library/ John Director, Visual Media Center Dept. of Art, Art History & Visual Studies Duke University ________________________________ From: ARLIS/NA List <[log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>> on behalf of Malcolm McBryde <[log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>> Sent: Thursday, October 22, 2015 10:53 AM To: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> Subject: [ARLIS-L] Suggestions for digital-humanities reading?
