Hello all!


I work in the archives of a university art gallery which is interested in collection management databases that can gracefully catalog past installation paperwork, offers customizable categories which can set various data within a collection to be either public or private, ideally offers a slideshow feature that allows researchers to scroll through art images quickly without needing to zoom or scroll/click through metadata, and won't break the bank! 


Do you have comments or suggestions on programs you are using or have used, or workarounds you have used to achieve similar functionality?
