Call for Applications:
The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum Research Center
The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum Research Center invites applications for academic fellowships in American Modernism for the 2016-2017 academic term. Stipends are awarded to historians in the fields of art, architecture and design, literature, music and photography. The fellowship program provides a supportive community and environment for scholars to pursue their research and writings. Research Center fellows are provided with an office as well as access to the archive and library collections of the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum.

The program is open to Ph.D. candidates, scholars with a doctorate or comparable degree and experience, and museum professionals. Selections are made based on the innovative quality of the proposed project and on the originality and intellectual rigor of the candidate's previous scholarly work. Up to four fellows are in residence at one time with terms ranging from three to nine months. Pre-doctoral candidates are awarded stipends of $3500/month and post-doctoral and senior scholars are awarded stipends of $4500/month.

Recipients of the stipends are expected to be in residence during the period of the award and to take part in the life of the Research Center.
