Dear collective wisdom,

I have a curator who is trying to find information on the artist of a painting he has come across.

The signature is: A. Leonardi di Fortune

The work is signed 1817 and Roma.

I have had no luck thus far via the usual suspects. Has anyone heard of the artist or have suggestions on where to look?
