‘Mela’ lived in Los Angeles from the early 1940s until she died of asphyxiation in her Los Angeles art studio in 1952.
Many of her compositions involve complex existential themes, reminiscent of German Expressionists Max Beckmann and George Grosz.
Her grandson, Richard Hill has written this book illuminating her life and art.

Please contact us at [log in to unmask] should you be interested in receiving a complimentary volume.

Thank you for your consideration.
