Hi Elizabeth,
Thank you for the kind message. I'm happy you found the Storify valuable. It was the first time Emily and I used the application, and found it straight forward and easy to use. I know you're the social media coordinator for the ARLIS/NA NY Chapter and would love to hear how your Chapter is using social media. We currently use Facebook for communicating Chapter events and meetings, but are thinking about how social media can help promote and connect art librarians to professional development. Hence the Twitter chat!
Emily and I have plans coordinate another chat in the Fall. Look forward to seeing you there!
Sincerely,
Kate

Subject: [ARLIS-L] ARLIS/NA New England #arlisnechat Storify
Greetings ARLIS/NA!
At the end of May, ARLIS/NA New England hosted the chapter's first Twitter chat #arlisnechat and it was a great success.
Thank you to Hillary Webb and Ken Laing from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design Library for talking about their article in the latest issue of Art Documentation, Engaging with Social Media: The Emily Carr University of Art and Design Library Experience, and everyone who participated in the discussion.
If you're interested in catching up with what happened during the chat we created a Storify of the conversation - http://ow.ly/NGcLG
Keep an eye out for future #arlisnechat and stay up to date via our chapter website. http://newengland.arlisna.org
