This is a query to libraries who use Yankee Book Peddler for their art materials.

We at Duke have used YBP for years.  For about the same length of time we blocked certain museum exhibition catalogs from their plan in order to receive them from a specialty art catalog dealer (known to most of you I’m sure).  Recently Yankee has informed us that they can no longer block those museum catalogs jointly published/distributed by university presses or DAP from their approval plan.  I’d be interested to hear from other libraries in this situation.  Have you been told this, too?  How are you handling this in your own institution?

Replies off the list, I think, for confidentiality.
