I have a patron who is trying to track down a lost painting. He thinks it might have been donated to a Massachusetts museum sometime after 1910. Is anyone aware of a good way of searching donor information for museums aside from individual museum archives? I've tried the Getty Provenance Index and haven't found any records at all for this artist. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Karen Bouchard Brown University -- Karen A.
